Who we are.

calvIO was formed from Calvary Robotics in January 2017 as a separate entity, incorporated in the state of Delaware. Headquartered in a northern suburb of Rochester, NY, off the shore of picturesque Lake Ontario, calvIO is focused on simplifying the interaction between man and machine in industrial environments. The company was formed on the idea of democratizing industrial robots so that all manufacturers, regardless of sophistication and size, could benefit from automation. Company founders have operated in the industrial automation industry for over two decades and bring to calvIO a wealth of experience and a broad network of connections.

The management team of calvIO has decades of experience managing complex hardware and software integrations, at enterprise and global scales, for companies such as Microsoft, IBM, Boeing, Agilent, and British Telecom.

Our growing and highly talented team also possesses an eclectic mix of industrial integration and OEM experience, affording us exciting opportunities for developing innovative solutions not found elsewhere. We are excited to bring our talents and solutions to the robot programming marketplace.

This is an exciting time in industrial robotics, with attention-grabbing technology advances appearing every day that continue to reduce costs associated with robot integrations, while simultaneously increasing market opportunities for everyone. We are personally very excited to be part of this history.

Calvary Robotics is a systems integrator primarily comprised of four business units: Systems Automation, Contract Manufacturing, Precision Machining, and Product Development.. Calvary is a designer, fabricator, programmer, and assembler of manufacturing automation. A typical project involves discovering customer requirements, cataloging specifications, then delivering automated solutions to fit those requirements. You can rely on Calvary for procurement, documentation, and installation of made-to-order systems.

The Systems Automation unit is the core of Calvary and provides custom designed automation solutions with contract values typically in excess of $1 million, and with some programs in excess of $10 million. Given the custom nature of the projects, contract duration ranges from six to twelve months, with some larger projects running as long as eighteen months.

The genesis of calvIO was an outcome of Calvary’s initiative to develop a product line for the automation space, augmenting custom systems development.
